Chad Klutts, Founder

Chad founded Bleue Line to help organizations realize the value behind their most important transactions. Over the past 20 years, he has led post-merger integrations, carve-outs, and strategic transformations for organizations ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 1 companies.

Throughout his career, Chad has partnered with private equity sponsors and corporate acquirers to integrate businesses, accelerate synergy realization, and guide organizations through periods of significant change. His experience spans healthcare, retail, technology, manufacturing, industrials, financial services, and consumer products, leading cross-functional teams across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Before founding Bleue Line, Chad served as Director of M&A Integration at Walmart, leading integration and separation programs across retail, healthcare, and technology. Prior to Walmart, he spent a decade in Deloitte's M&A practice, advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

Today, Chad works directly with integration teams, bringing senior leadership, disciplined execution, and practical advice to every engagement.

When he's not helping clients navigate complex transactions, Chad enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, cooking, and traveling with his family. Together, they foster animals and support local charities.

What is "Bleue Line"

Bleue Line is a play on “blue line” which refers to the term for fishing in small, often overlooked trout streams that are represented by blue lines on topographical maps. These streams are typically wild, unstocked, and hard to access, often being located in backcountry areas. We like that name for the firm because the right choice can be easy to overlook or difficult to obtain, but well worth the effort.
